Grandpa Is 90!

So Wednesday was a pretty big day for birthdays. The biggest one was that my Grandpa turned 90! This picture was taken at his birthday party that was in the summer, since that is when more of the family could make it. His first wife, who I am named after and my mom's dad died either before I was born or right after, so I have no memory of them. My mom's mom was around until I was about 10 and I am grateful for the memories that I have of her. This old guy and his second wife have been the grandparents that I have been able to grow up with. I am grateful for Grandpa's love and smile! I love to listen to his stories, especially those of him courting my grandma! He has been an example to me and I love him so much! He better stay around for awhile so my children can get to know their great grandpa!
